As you know, education is a crucial part of my work and I was very honored to be a guest speaker to over 200 agents who attended the annual Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters. I shared the duties with my friend and colleague Harry Thal. The audience just loved the marketing tips, jokes and insights to providing unbelievable customer service to our clients. We were only allowed 1 hour to speak but I received a nice email after the event that they want us to come back and next time give us an hour and a half.
The Health Care landscape is changing rapidly for employers and seniors and the day at LAAHU was filled with informative speakers. One of the highlights was the homemade cookies brought by my friend Janis a GAIDS. Every time we have an educational event Janis brings a huge basket with all kinds of cookies! Yummy!!
My friend Jack called and said he had tickets to Game 4 of the Dodger’s Play Off game! I couldn’t say NO, and fortunately I could take the afternoon off work while my son Elliott held down the fort. This was the best baseball game we saw all year. National’s tied L.A. 5-5 in the 7th inning but the Dodger’s battled back with one run in the bottom of the 8th and shut down the National’s in the top of the 9 th. The crowed when crazy!! Go Dodger’s!!
Elliott Celebrates 26! You may have talked with my son Elliott on the phone lately; he’s been working full time in the family business since January and is doing a great job! This is his 3rd year in the business and on October 2nd he turned the BIG 26. Oh, I remember being 26, those were the days. Youth is wonderful!!
