It is a happy Saturday over here as I’ve already had my large mug of coffee.
Today, Kaycee and I are planning on going to the Farmers Market that is held at Mariners Church in Irvine every Saturday.
Kaycee really loves to walk around to see who has the freshest looking produce for the best deal.
And every time we walk by the plant vendors, she always contemplates buying a blueberry bush or some little tree she can plant in the back yard but she has yet to pull the trigger. We’ll see what happens today.

As for me, I go straight for the baked goods booths.
Cookies, muffins, banana bread, pastries…it’s heavenly.
There are choices on top of choices at the Farmers Market which is much like when it comes to choosing your Medicare plans.
There’s Medicare Supplement plans A, B, C, F, F Extra or Innovative, Hi Deductible F, G, N and each health insurance company offers some sort of mix of these plans.
There are over 40 different Medicare Advantage plans to choose from in Southern California.
For Part D prescription plans, there are about 30 different choices in our state.
The choices are endless.
And that’s why I think I have an important job to help guide people through the Medicare process.
There’s no way for the average person to be able to sort through the seemingly endless number of choices.
Our family business has been in the Medicare business for the last 28 years and we have experience dealing with many of these different companies.
Some insurance companies have great customer service and I get the same person on the phone about a third of the times I call.
Some companies I get sent overseas which just makes getting things resolved that much more difficult.
There are some companies that have been sanctioned by Medicare in past years.
Then there are some that have done a reliable job, year in and year out that limit the number of problems we have to resolve and offer competitive premiums for our clients.
This is the kind of information that we’ve accumulated over the years that help us position our clients in plans we can be confident in so that way they can get back to living their lives.
Choices are good, however sorting through them takes time, energy and focus.
